GCSE Maths & Science, taught the grade 9 way

Weekly 1-to-1 lessons with a specialist GCSE tutor, hand-picked by me, teaching with the same methods that got me all 9s. Honest note: I don't teach GCSE lessons myself, so you're never paying A-Level rates for GCSE content.

How it works

My methods. A specialist's teaching. Your grade 9.

I built IsaAcademy's GCSE tutoring around a simple idea: the methods that got me all 9s can be taught, and they work best when delivered by a dedicated GCSE specialist with the time to focus completely on GCSE students.

  • Hand-picked. I personally choose and vet every tutor who teaches under the IsaAcademy name.
  • Same playbook. Lessons follow the IsaAcademy approach: methods, mark schemes and exam technique, not just re-explaining the textbook.
  • Overseen by me. I stay across every student's progress and step in on strategy.
For parents

FAQ

Common questions

Who actually teaches the GCSE lessons?
A specialist GCSE tutor, hand-picked, vetted and overseen by Isaac. Isaac teaches A-Level personally and leads the teaching approach across all IsaAcademy tutoring, but GCSE lessons are delivered by the specialist. That's also why GCSE is £30/hr rather than £40/hr.
Which year groups can join?
Years 10 and 11 primarily. A Year 10 start is the smart move: grade 9s are built over two years, not two months. Ambitious Year 9s preparing early are welcome to enquire.
Foundation or Higher tier?
Both. The first job in the intro chat is making sure your child is on the right tier for their target. Moving tier at the right moment can completely change a GCSE outcome.
How do payments work?
£30 per hour, paid per lesson or per half-term block. Everything is confirmed in the free intro chat before any payment.
